I am having a giant cup of tea and boozy macarons (have you tried the Boozy Macarons that Trader Joe’s has? If not, go get some, I’ll wait😉) to celebrate surviving my launch week.
Releasing the cozy mystery, Sinnerman, last Wednesday was a wild ride. There were a lot of things to do, but one of the most maddening things was just watching my sales numbers, wondering if I had done enough to make sure my novella gets in the hands of people who would enjoy reading it.
Did my efforts have any impact??? Well, for launch week I sold 67 copies of Sinnerman, including 1 to Australia—so I’m totally going to call myself a globally read author now 🥳. And I made it to #15 in the charts in one of my subcategories!!! It may not be a lot compared to Colleen Hoover’s numbers, but I’m proud of myself and want to thank you for your support.
Didn’t snag Sinnerman while it was half off? Don’t worry, it’s still just 1.99 for the ebook and 5.99 for the super cute little paperback. I plan to release #2 in The Regina Grant Mysteries in January and will put Sinnerman back on sale then.
Here’s a video of me reading the opening murder scene. Enjoy!
